I move ghostlike with dreams spread out on my chest. Hands shaking, heart steady, knowing where I'll go. Days unwind their language, I know that they will take me there. Landscapes left behind, unrepenting. The night shines on these past years, these memories are all are that's left. The world runs right through you and you run out of breath.
I find myself in these old winds, in the forest and the creeks, while we hold hands and walk these streets. Reckless, our youth unknown.
I will hold you close, hold you near, hold you dear.
